19th Century New England framed sampler executed by school girl Mary F. Parker, aged 11 years 1831.
Family register Mary chronicles the birth and deaths of Parker & Polly Peck family of Wolcott, New Haven County, Connecticut.
In addition Mary has stitched a scene of distinctive trees and house.
Numerous distinctive bands decorate the piece including a large intricate one that comprises the bottom border.
Top half are alphabets and numbers punctuated by hearts and diamonds.
Traditional verse on bottom left corner.
Dimension: framed: 18 1/2 in. x 18 in. sight: 17 in. x 16 1/2 in.
Condition: good original framed estate condition.
