French Patinated Spelter Chariot Mantle Clock, c. 1890, of a Roman charioteer, after "Course Romaine" by Ulpiano Checa Y Sanz (1860-1916), the rider being pulled by two horses, the wheel of the chariot mounted with a time and strike clock with a black face and gilt Roman numeral chapter marks, on an integral base, with pendulum, H.- 18 in., W.- 16 1/2 in., D.- 8 1/2 in.
