REPUBLIC PERIOD, SIGNED WANG QI (1884-1937)
of rectangular form, painted to depict the immortal Zhong Kui and a male on a boat in a river, dated summer of the wuchen year (corresponding to 1928), signed Wang Qi with two seals, Xichang Wang Qi, tao mi, framed.
Sight: height 14 x 9 1/8 in., 36 x 23 cm.
Provenance: Purchased in Nanking, China during year 1947-1948, thence by descent
