Description
Six (6) pages from assorted volumes of Harper's Weekly printed 1864. Various pictures depicting slaves and their contribution during the Civil War. Picture titles include 'Negroes leaving Their Home'; 'Negroes Escaping out of Slavery'; 'Colored Tropps, under General Wild, Liberating Slaves in North Carolina'; and 'The Twentieth United States Colored Troops Receiving their Colors on Union Square, March 5, 1864'. Pages measure approximately 11.25-in. x 16-in. In F/G-G+ condition, some spotting. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective.
