American Rococo Revival Rosewood and Faux Rosewood Work Table
mid-19th century, of a form traditionally attributed to J. H. Belter, New York, the stepped top with a hinged cupboard, the whole opening to a mirrored and compartmented interior above a frieze fitted with a dummy drawer over a compartmented drawer, over a shell- and foliate-fronted storage well, raised on shaped legs joined by a basket-centered X-form stretcher and ending in in-scrolled toes.
