THEATRE: Miscellaneous selection of signed pieces, cards, album pages, A.Ls.S., T.Ls.S., a few signed programmes etc., by various dramatists, playwrights, actors, actresses, stage designers etc., from the 17th century onwards, mainly British, including Robert Howard, James Planche, Edward Gordon Craig (three A.Ls.S., one to a bookseller ordering several items from their Bargain List and also commenting 'I see you have one of my books on the Bargain List & I am very glad to see it there, for I contracted for it to be issued at 10/6 (the price it is now) & since I wrote it for people who can pay that sum & not for the snobs, it was an error to have raised it to 31/6'), Terence Rattigan, Andre Charlot, Paul Vincent Carroll, Henry Irving (A.L.S., making a brief reference to the artist Seymour Lucas and the loan of a Cardinal's dress, '….It is certainly a magnificent thing & I am greatly indebted to you for the use of it.
