Vintage Sterling Silver Hand Mirror Marked Tiffany & Co.; a short handled mirror. The frame shows a smooth clean finish. It is marked Tiffany & Co. on the bottom of the handle. The initials "GCK" are engraved in fine distinctive script. We believe these represent Gertrude Chapman Kimball, wife of Gov. Charles Dean Kimball of Rhode Island (1901 - 1903). The mirror is in good condition, it does show some small spots of tarnish on the bezel and approximately five (5) small dents on the reverse face. From the simple utilitarian design, we believe this piece is plated silver. It measures 5 3/4" W x 7 3/4" L x 3/8" D, total weight of the piece is 347 grams.
