3rd-4th century AD. A translucent brown glass bowl with gently bulging walls tapering to the top with flat everted rim, slightly convex to the base. 86.5 grams, 12cm (7 3/4"). Property of a North London lady; gifted from her father's collection; formerly with a Mayfair gallery, London, UK; previously acquired in the 1980s.
