Dwight David 'Ike' Eisenhower (1890-1969) American
a typed and signed letter to Brigadier General Hayes Kroner, 6th February 1948. Sent on Eisenhowers last day at the Pentagon as Army Chief of Staff. Kroner was the former head of the US War Departments Military Intelligence Service. Sold together with the original envelope.
Note: Eisenhower want on to a role as the 13th President of Columbia University before being elected as 34th President of the United States in 1953.
