Description
VICTORIAN BLOWN-OUT AND ENAMEL-DECORATED KEROSENE GONE WITH THE WIND / PARLOR LAMP, opaque white with shaded rose ground and polychrome enamel-decoration, matching decorated ball-form shade with heat ring, urn-form font vase topped with a brass spill ring with copper finish, cast-metal openwork and floral base with a copper finish. Fitted with a period brass drop-in font with burner. Electrified. Late 19th/early 20th century. 22" HOA, 11 3/4" H to top of shade ring, 6 1/2" SQ base. Shade 9 1/2" H, 4" D fitter.
Glass undamaged; burner having significant imperfections including cutting of the gallery; font tank having no central-draft tube. Shade having expected light roughness to the fitter, as made.
