Continental Carved Mahogany Nine-Tube Tall Case Clock
ca. 1900, the heavily carved case adorned with griffins and acanthine details, the movement with chimes on Eight Bells and Westminster and marked Germany.

Condition
In "as found" condition. There is some flaking to the painted moon dial, and a shrinkage crack to the carved molding just below the center window. No sign of damage or losses. Light surface wear around the winding holes. Crazing to the finish. Three weights, a pendulum and nine tubes present. Lacking the winding crank. We have not had it running. The brass bob on the pendulum has a large dent.
