Mystery Early Footed Pottery Face Jug
Uncertain if Pre-Columbian, post-contact Central or South American, Spanish folk art or related to Bellarmine stoneware design as the previous Pre-Columbian lot and the following English lot came from the same collection, relatively soft visibly sculpted clay body along the lines of terracotta that is somewhat reddish below the glaze line in the interior of the pitcher, note vessel is footed, 7 inches high x 5.75 inches wide x 7 inches deep, unsigned but with distinctive leaf type linear inscised mark along underside.
