Dated 5/VIII/54. 12 7/8 x 9 inches. Very good condition, showing no signs of damage or repairs. Unframed for inspection and shipping. Sold unframed.

Provenance: Believed to have been acquired by the owner's family at the International Rare Book Fair, Paris, circa 1965-1975 from Paul Roche, a private dealer in books, autographs, and fine art. The present lot was allegedly created as an illustration for a children's book that was never published.
