A LOUIS XIV STYLE CARVED BEECH FAUTEUIL À LA REINE, PROBABLY FRANCE, 19TH CENTURY, in the Baroque taste, the rectangular canted upholstered back over a square upholstered seat within acanthus leaf and wheat carved serpentine arms ending in scrolled flower bloom terminals on turned tapered supports, the block and turned legs on Flemish influenced hairy paw feet, joined by an arched pierced scrolling foliate, flower bloom, and wheat carved front stretcher, and a lower tapered, ring turned and block "H" form stretcher, now in foliate wrapped Corinthian capital and twisted column theme tapestry upholstery. There are some mild chips and dents in expected areas, such as the arms, feet, and front stretcher, but nothing of particular note.
