Description
A GROUP OF THREE YELLOW SATIN GLASS VESSELS, ENGLISH, CONTINENTIAL AND/OR AMERICAN, CIRCA 1880-1900, comprising a pair of Victorian yellow cut to clear satin glass diamond quilted mother-of-pearl pattern vases, of baluster form with ruffled rim, Stourbridge, England, circa 1880-1900, unmarked, height: 8 1/2", diameter: 4 1/4"; and a Victorian cased yellow satin glass two handled Coralene technique vase, of ovoid form with ruffled rim and frosted transluscent glass loop handles, the body decorated with melted glass beads in a naturalistic seaweed pattern, Continental or American, circa 1883-1900, unidentified mark, height: 4 5/8", width: 5 3/4", depth: 3 1/2".
Condition
the pair of quilted satin glass vases with small nicks and chips on the sides within the diamonds of the quilt, one bottom with possible area of restoration; the Coralene vase with losses to the handles, and areas of loss to the beading.
