Condition: Good condition and color, remains of old hinges in top corners.
Lena Gurr (1897-1992) was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 27, 1897. She studied at the Educational Alliance Art School, and the Art Students League with John Sloan and Murice Sterne. She is a highly respected printmaker, and painter who one critic said "The joys and sorrows of everyday life." Her prints are rare, especially in good condition, this is a beautiful image.
