was a Chinese painter, grandfather Cui Wanren, grandmother Jin are farmers. Father Cui Haidong, who knows a few words, is a private magistrate, his mother, Zhao, is busy with housework. When he was only 14 years old, He left the house and went to work as an apprentice. He learned to be a blacksmith in a blacksmith's furnace in Dashiqiao Town. But because of his thin body, he couldn't afford serious physical labor. After two years, he had to do it. limner. As a result of hard work, he has accumulated profound oil paintings, Chinese paintings, and engraving skills.

In 1931, this was the most memorable year and the most important year for Cui Guangwu. At that time, the situation in the northeast of China was unstable. The Japanese helped Puyi to establish the pseudo-Manchurian state in Changchun. Because he often copied the paintings of the master Qi Baishi in the newspaper, he was inadvertently named by the famous painter and also the disciple of Qi Baishi. Originally known as Guan Longdian, he found that Cui Guangwu was very talented in Chinese painting. Later, Mr. Guan Nanping subsidized Cui Guangwu into Beijing and took him to see Master Qi Baishi. Master Qi Baishi saw Guan Nanping lead a young man in his twenties from Changchun to Beiping to find himself. At that time, the current situation of Peiping was also very turbulent. Master Qi Baishi did not intend to accept any apprentice. From the results of Guan Nanping's recommendation, Cui Guangwu's shrimp and crab pictures, he saw Cui Guangwu's own landscape paintings. Master Qi Baishi was moved by Cui Guangwu’s sincerity and was accepted as a disciple.

After cultivating the master of Baiqi Baishi from 1931, Cui Guangwu was taught the shrimp and crab painting techniques. At first Qi Baishi asked Cui Guangwu to draw 50 shrimps and 20 crabs every day, and then pointed out the shortage. After a period of tempering, Cui Guangwu also mastered the skills of Qi Baishi's shrimp and crab painting. Every day, when watching crabs, especially when painting shrimps, there is a skill to draw water paintings. It is difficult for people with insufficient foundation to master. Cui Guangwu worked hard to master the skills. After sixty-seven years, in 1998, Qi Baishi's long-grandson, Mr. Qi Folai, found Cui Guangwu. After seeing Cui Guangwu's works, he wrote an inscription on his painting: with Qi Baishi style. This is the recognition of Cui Guangwu's artistic achievements by the personnel in the industry.
