This lot consists of an ink drawing on paper, attributed to modern artist Max Ernst (German, 1891-1976). "Max Ernst" is hand written at lower right. Image depicts two fantastical birdlike creatures, perhaps mother and daughter. Done in the vibrant, Surrealist style for which Ernst was so well known. This unframed piece measures approximately 7.25" x 5.25".
