Description
Pressed Glass Paperweights Attributed to Gillinder & Sons from the Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia, 1876.
About 5.25" tall Lincoln Paperweight has either a crack or a manufacturing mark..
The Other is marked Director General at Coshorn.
We were originally informed that all of these American Centennial items were made by Gillinder & Sons, but we are finding that many are Adams Glass plus a few Fenton, LE Smith and others mixed in. We have worked to identify the different patterns and manufacturers, but please confirm the manufacturer if it is important to you. Also- remember these were souvenirs made nearly 150 years ago and you can see manufacturing imperfections on many of these type of items. We do our best to describe.
