Pair of Chinese Qianlong Famille rose porcelain lidded cups. Deep curvature flaring upward to form the rim, with a slightly raised footing. The upper rim has been painted with a colloidal gold rings. The exterior rich decorated in famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the purple family, of four seasons flowers including peonies, chrysanthemums, lotus, plum. All divided by scrolls vines and various fresh green foliage , interspersed by bright rose-pink colorful floral foliate motif against purple underglaze ground. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite. The domed lids supported the conforming ring fitting to main body, a slightly raised curvature for handle, within the similar decoration. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-p'i) or a chicken skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous ,the shape is uniformly proportioned.


The under-base and central top lid bears a reign marks, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
