AN ANTIQUE UZBEKISTANI RED AND COLORFUL SILK EMBROIDERED SUZANI, NURATA DISTRICT, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, of rectangular form and centering a large eight petal floral star motif with each petal framing a vibrant red blossoming stem, within corners of paisley form reserves filled with red flowering tree of life style details, partitioned by winged ewers and sides of various flora interspersed with miniature ewers, enclosed within a broad conforming border of serrated leaf trellis framing various bold red blooms, composed of bright colored silk threads on a natural linen/cotton sheet background, within a custom lucite and giltwood frame.  Height: 100.50" Width: 57.25"

Good condition for embroidered textiles of this age, use, materials and country of origin including but not limited to; discolorations, old repairs, yellowing, fading and some separations. Red colors are still amazingly vibrant.
