A superb example of Americana at it's best.////Carved bone eagle head cane with glass eyes, the shaft of the cane made from Independence Hall wood timber(Independence Hall is where the Declaration of Independence was signed).Additionally engraved 1855 and with the name of J.W.Stockton on one sterling silver band along with the words: Original Timber of Independence Hall.Engraved Joseph Chew Heulings and dated 1892 on a second sterling silver band, the tip of the cane is sterling silver.Length is 34 inches, carved bone is 2.5"
