Bronze Grand Tour Sculpture of a Dancer
fourth quarter 19th century, after Francois Rolard (French, 1842-1912), cast signature and "Societe des Paris" foundry mark along self-base, the dancer holding a hoop with two birds, and another long-tailed bird perched on his shoulder.

Condition
In overall good "as is" condition with weathering and unevenness of patination. Possible old filler repair
at proper right upper arm joint. Scattered nicks and areas of rubbing/abrading. Some small areas of
oxidation. Bird has been reattached to shoulder. Soiling and accretions, especially in more deeply
modeled areas.
