Description

Unusual banded scenic Vellum vase showing a sailing vessel run aground on the rocky shoreline during a storm, the work of Fred Rothenbusch in 1910. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape 900 D, an impressed V for Vellum, an incised V for Vellum glaze and the artist’s incised monogram. There is fine overall crazing. Height is 6 3/4 inches.
