Yao Yuanzhi (1773-1852), ink on paper, two cats beneath a peony tree, with two seals reading as 姚氏伯昂 and 南齐旧史 and dated to the summer of 1833, 134cm x 50cm and a painting attributed to Gu Hui, 19th century, ink and colours on silk, Lotus Flowers, 42cm x 28cm and Six various Chinese paintings, ink and colours, variously signed, including: He Jizhen, Cai Zhilong etc., various sizes and two Japanese paintings, all mounted as scrolls (10)Yao Yuanzhi was born in Anhui Province and was a Court Secretariat of the Daoguang Emperor and Vice Minister of the the Ministry of Public Works. Condition
The first with some staining, worm holes and creasing to painting and the scroll mounts with several tears and losses and discoloured; the other with some stains to painting and scroll mounts with minor tears and losses Some fading, staining and wear throughout.
