Mary Elizabeth Miner, a well-known artist, musician, and teacher in Kent and New York City, died peacefully at her home in Kent March 26, 2009 Ms. Miner was born July 3, 1941, in New York City to producer-director Worthington 'Tony' Miner and actress Frances Fuller . Her father was one of the pioneers of early television.

Her contribution to the Connecticut arts community began in the 1970s. Her paintings, pottery and sculptures were featured at various galleries, including the Washington Arts Association and the Jacques Kaplan gallery in Kent.
