1st century AD. A glass unguentarium perfume bottle with domed body and recessed base, long neck with splayed and folded rim; some iridescence to surface. Cf. Whitehouse, D. Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.2, New York, 2001, item 773 for type. 229 grams, 16cm (5 1/4"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. [No Reserve]
