About the artist: George Post, (California was born in Oakland, CA and later moved across the Bay to San Francisco where he established himself as a prominent watercolor painter. Post was also an influential instructor, teaching at several Bay Area institutions including California College of Arts and Crafts, Stanford University, and San Jose State College. His works are held in many public and private collections.

Good overall condition. Tape and glue residue verso from a previous framing. Waviness to paper overall. A couple minor tears at edges, the largest on the left side is illustrated in the images. Some light spotting to paper on back side, not noticeable from the front. Some minor scuffs, etc from living unframed for a period of time.
