Description
A French Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock movement by japy freres, retailed by theodore b. starr, new york, early 20th century Height 12 1/2 x width 8 1/2 inches.
Condition
In overall good, stable condition. Case intact, with uneven, dirty gilt finish. Glass all in good condition without chips or cracks, one side and back currently detached.
Movement appears complete with pendulum and spiral gong. Works very dirty. Both springs take a wind, clock runs for a while then stops. Hands stick. Clock does not seem to strike.
