A Georgian mourning ring in contemporary ring box, the concave ring head with a central glazed panel of hair with overlaid initials JP, within a black enamel border and natural seed pearl outer border, the back engraved 'John Paris, Ob 9th March 1810, Ætatis 83', to a later 19th century reeded shank with trifurcated shoulders, size S, in a cushion shaped antique black covered wooden box with hinged lid, possibly the original case for the ring
