Eight color prints circa 1803-1810 by Luigi Mayer (1755-1803) and Ainslie's Collection published by R. Bowyer Historical Gallery, 19th century, many (if not all) by Sir Robert Ainslie. Each depicts a different holy site or monument. 1) Cathedral at Tortosa. 2) Sepulchers of the Kings of Judah. 3) Tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. 4) Tomb of the Virgin Mary. 5) Monument on the Coast of Syria No. 2. 6) Terapia. 7) Tenoke of Hyouter Ammon in Libya. 8) Monument between Tripoli and Tortosa. Various sizes, with the smallest measuring 12.375-in. x 17.375-in., the largest measures 18.375-in. x 12.5-in. All unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. If lot is absent of a condition report, a condition report may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective.
