A group of 11 Byzantine bronze coins, with old envelopes from 1920's and 30's. A diverse groups with examples struck during the reigns of Anastasius, (AD 491 - 518), Justin II, (AD 565 - 578), Tiberius II Constantine, (AD 578 - 582), Maurice Tiberius, (AD 582 - 602), Constans II, (AD 641 - 668), Leo VI, (AD 886 - 912), and 4 later anonymous Folles depicting Christ. Largest 35 x 31 mm. Ex collection of Nick Jamgochian (1912-1993), CA.
