Two Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dishes
probably Ming Dynasty, 17th century, the larger example with flared cavetto and everted lip, decorated with a central garden scene surrounded by individual floral motifs, the exterior with alternating stylized floral sprays, dia. 8-1/4", the smaller example decorated with two deer in a forest setting within compartmentalized borders depicting flowers and fruit, the exterior with floral motifs, dia. 7-3/4".

Condition
The larger dish has a 1/8" innate firing crack to the rim. Rim also has scattered abrading and "flea-bite"
chips. Smaller example has a chip and a 1" hairline crack to rim. Both foot rims exhibit kiln grit from the
firing process.
