Description
Carleton W Furbush (American (Alabama) 1890s - 1966), second quarter 20th century. Large portrait of a seated lady, oil on canvas, signed lower left. Framed 58" x 47". Note: Carleton W. Furbush was one of Mobile, Alabama's most noted artists. Mr. Furbush studied arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Boston Museum of Fine Arts and in Paris under Pierre Lasage. Mr. Furbush was a portrait specialist.
