Description
A set of Danish sterling silver by Georg Jensen, Denmark in the 1916 "Beaded" pattern. An early 20th century Art Nouveau design with a hammered surface and single row of beads. The set is comprised of 8 dinner knives (8.5") 8 forks (7.25") 8 large soup spoons, 8 salad / dessert forks (6 forks with tines measuring 7/8" wide and 2 forks with tines measuring 1" wide), 7 teaspoons, 2 butter spreaders and 2 serving spoons (7.5"). A total of 43 pieces. Includes the Georg Jensen cloth storage pouches. Overall weight of the solid sterling (excluding the sterling handled knives) 1528 grams.
NOTE: Also known as the Kugle pattern and was designed by Georg Jensen, production began in 1916.
