Description
A silver pendant with coin of Alexander the Great. The coin is a nice silver Drachm of Alexander III ‘The Great’, 336 - 323 BC, and depicts the head of Herakles wearing lion’s skin headdress on the obverse and Zeus enthroned on the reverse, holding an eagle and sceptre. The Greek coin is nicely mounted into a custom silver bezel with loop for suspension. 34 x 24 mm, 7.56g. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
