Condition
**Previously cleaned and relined; retained original stretcher bars and tacking edges. Signs of inpainting along lower edge and lower right and left corners, areas of inpainting upper right and left (background); upper center (vertical areas in hair and along right side of face; lower center (dress and hand). Small paint losses scattered in lower half (largely in her dress); losses and tears in canvas lower center by edges.
Frame with surface marks, nicks and abrasions; separations in corners; losses along edges and corners; signs of past restorations.
