Circa 1946 snapshot photograph album with images loosely mounted by typical picture corners to hold images in place. Of note are the snapshots depicting tennis which include 3 photos identified as Bobby Riggs, 1 photo identified as Frank Kovacs and 2 photos identified as "Welley Van Hane"? (difficult to read). In the background is what appears to be a tournament seeding chart with lettering at its top reading; "Professional Master Tennis Tournament, Allegheney County, Sewickley PA". (1946 was the first year Bobby Riggs was ranked as number one as a professional. He played against Frank Kovacs several times). The balance of the album is comprised of a college girl's life, family and friends. Manuscript notations often appear on top of face of photos and occasional additional information appears on the backs. When noted, images are dated in ink as 1946. Over 100 images total. Exterior dimensions of album when closed are approximately 9-1/4" X 6-1/4". Condition: all pages are detached from album with pages having edge tears, wear, brittle paper and light soiling. some open spots with photos missing. Please see photos for additional condition review.
