Description
Made by Kyser & Rex Company circa 1880's of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a very rare electroplated with highlights version. The not so subtle bigotry of this bank involves a black boy being butted up a tree to come face-to-face with a raccoon, as the coin is deposited. The implication is the meeting of two coons. Made of Cast Iron. Works well. Excellent Condition. Missing Trap. 1/2" crack in baseplate near trap square.
