Item Details

Description

Manufactured in 1892 by The Shepard Hardware Company in Buffalo, New York. This cast iron mechanical bank measures 7.5" at the base. The subject matter of the bank depicts two young boys at the game of leap frog. Spring mechanism does not work, but one can manually leap one boy over the other; likely a broken spring. Keyed trap present without key and condition is good used and glossy paint. There is a very slight hairline crack on the back of the bank, see picture, we circled it in blue. Good Luck!
