Description
Pair, converted Louis XVI style candelabras. Mid to late 19th cent., bronze dore and marble, three light foliate branches on a vasi-form cream marble body with ram's head mounts connected by chains, on a tripod support with hairy cloven hooves, on a marble base with beaded bun feet, now converted to a single socket lamp. Approx. w. 11", h. 31.125, d. 10.25" of each.
Condition
Spots to bronze dore ; staining and scuffs to marble; chains disconnected; "V" shape notch to each nozzle possibly from a previous fitting; stem detached on one; foot bent on one.
