American drop front secretary desk, circa 1780-1820. Hardwood with pine secondary woods, dovetailed drawer construction, two hidden drawers to the fitted interior, the drop front supported by pulls with four graduated drawers below, on bracket feet.

Condition

Possibly refinished; scratches and wear to finish; alligatored finish ; chips and patches to drop front and drawers; replacement brasses; stains, scratches, burns and wear to writing surface; key is not present.
