Height: 15 1/2 in x width: 20 in x depth: 11 1/2 in.
Condition
The desk is structurally sound and stable. There are a few areas of light buckling to the inlaid floral decoration. There are a few small splits to the wood, especially the left side, visible in the lot listing. All drawers open and close smoothly; the sliding door along the interior of the top of the desk is a little sticky, but it opens. One of the handles of the bottom drawer is broken - see lot listing - however, the original pieces are included with the lot. Both of the large bottom drawers have splits to the bottom panel and evidence of attempted repairs (areas of lighter wood along the interior and a tape-like patch visible along the underside).Throughout the piece there are a few minute areas of chipping or minor losses. The front panel of the right arm that extends to hold the desk in place is missing, visible in the lot listing. Along the right front leg there is a missing piece of trim; the trim piece along the back of this leg is loose. Both legs are slightly loose. Light wear throughout consistent with age and use.
