Description
Two late Victorian gold lockets. The first designed as a circular coral cabochon and split pearl star to a vacant mount reverse, the second designed as a polished case with engraved crest opening to reveal vacant compartments. Lengths 3.9 and 4.1cms. Weight 18gms. Coral untested.
Condition
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Crest possible replacement/ a later addition.
  • One with slight wear to gilt finish.
  • Recently cleaned to a satin finish.
  • Possible gem replacements.
  • Corals untested for natural colour origin.
  • Corals in good condition well matched, with some abrasion.

  • Split pearls well matched, in good condition.
