A Venetian Painted Secretary

in two parts, the superstructure fitted with two doors opening to a shelved interior, the base with a fall-front opening to a fitted interior over three drawers, the whole painted to show port scenes and floral decoration.

Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Hardware replaced. The decoration with areas of overpainting and later embellishment. Repaired spits and breaks to superstructure. Fall front with filled age splits and overpainting. Additional images available upon request.
