Item Details
Description
This patchwork quilt top is all machine sewn with fabrics from the 1940's men's military clothing and ties. The top is accented with scalloped edges on all four sides.
This unused unwashed cotton and other types of fabric, patchwork quilt top is a graphic and visual vintage beauty.
This quilt top measures a generous 92" x 81" and this quilt top is in good unwashed condition, no holes or repairs. The edges are hand stitched and are a little rough. There is one small storage oxidation spot on back from decades of storage as shown in last photo, I am confident this will all disappear with its first long soaking in Oxyclean and laid on the grass in the sun to dry. The quilt top was stored in a cedar chest, and cedar still has cedar odor.
Strong and sturdy no fading or fabric splitting and ready for any project.
The maker put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt top a great visual look.
