Two signed etchings. 1) William Sanger (American 1875 - 1961) signed WPA era etching. Pencil signed "William Sanger" lower right. Titled "North River Fishermen" in pencil lower center. Stamped "Federal Art Project NYC WPA" lower left. Measures 6.75" x 10-3/8" image size, 9-3/8" x 11.25" sheet size. 2) Arthur S. Covey (American 1877-1960) signed etching. Pencil signed "Arthur Covey" lower left. Titled in pencil "Steel Workers before a Furnace". Inscribed by artist lower center "To G. T. Gossey with kind regards, A.S.C.". Measures 10-3/8" x 6-3/8" image size, 12" x 9-5/8" sheet size. Both unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. Provenance: Amity Art Foundation, Inc. collection.
