A late Victorian 15ct gold citrine and split pearl

Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold citrine and split pearl brooch. Designed as an oval-shape citrine and split pearl cluster, with cannetille sides and bead accent surround. Length 6cms. Weight 13.8gms.

Condition

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Citrine with chip to one side.

Citrine in overall good to fair condition with some abrasions and noticeable colour zoning.

Split pearls in good to fair condition with minor abrasions.

Brooch electronically tests as 15ct gold.
