Book Details: This extremely rare, author-signed antique document is string-bound in paper covers. It was produced by the head of the Finance Ministry in 1961 as a conversion guide just as the lira was introduced as the new Italian currency. It contains “tables for comparison or reduction of the Neapolitan currency of ducats and grana to that of Italian liras and cents and vice versa.â€

The original signature of Finance Minister, Guiseppe Pacifici, appears inside the front cover with a statement that translates: “Copies not bearing my signature will be declared fraudulent and will be subject to the rigor of the laws.â€

Condition / Notes: This extremely rare author-signed antique document is well preserved with string binding in paper wrappings.
