Authentic ancient medieval artifact. Viking origin, circa 800-900 AD. Made of thick Silver, pendant or amulet. Displays a Beast or Protector, with claws gripping an elongated object, inside a circular or lunar crescent shape. Oseberg/Borre style, Vendel or post-Vendel migration era (9-10th century AD). Originally acquired in Dublin, Ireland.

This artifact comes from the private collection of a notable American professor of Anthropology and Archaeologist, who conducted extensive research in Central America, the Middle East, Britain and the US during the latter years of the 20th century.
